Lenovo thinkpads are actually better in my opinion. I have a 2002 t61 thinkpad and it still works after 9 years. Thinkpads in general.are longlasting, durable, and hecka durable

@fordyrox thats not all computers and its not a dell issue. Each dell model uses a different chipset so things that effect one model may not effect others.

@adller99 Its only part of the European union and if you look at a map you can see its not really connected :P

  9. adller99 says:

@flemish4 1. the UK is a part of the fucking europe so you are european

  10. flemish4 says:

@mcvdigital Aha :P nope thats afternoon tea ;) Why are YOU using the british invented diode inside your computer then :)

  11. mcvdigital says:

@flemish4 Close minded american, ha. Why are you even using an American website, isnt it tea time?

  12. flemish4 says:

@mcvdigital Its called the hash key and if you’d mind not being such a closed minded american, pounds and the £ sign do exist :P

  13. mcvdigital says:

@flemish4 Dumbass european, itsn not referring to british pounds. computers are made in america, we dont give a fuck about pounds. The pound key is there to represent numbers. #1, #2.

@aLgUeRoViCh The problem Is will ALL dell computers and is a problem with the internal sound drivers, I would seriously recomend looking elseware. There is no current fix for it and it is verry annoying, Some have bought dell computers for composing music and they say the problem makes it impossible to do, Hope this helps. Also maybe look at some lenovo or hp computers as this problem is less common if not non existant.

@fordyrox Hi, I’m interested in buying this laptop but your comment let me think about it. I use traktor with Numark Omni Control, Do you think I will be able to use it properly? Why? Is any way to solve the problem?
    Thanks!!

  16. fordyrox says:

WARNING TO EVERYONE, DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP, OR ANY DELL LAPTOP AT THIS TIME IF YOU VALUE YOUR SOUND! All dell laptops are known to to have DPC latency issues, If you don’t know what that is it is a processing issue which causes the audio to constantly lock up and makes your sound practically un-usealble. If you want proof simply google search dell DPC latency problems, the threads on these problems are literally 100′s of pages long. It IS a major issue and I would suggest looking elsware.

    @mpeindms

Regardless of the fact “#” stood for pound, he still didn’t use it in the right context. It’s not about “getting a bigger view of the planet”, he was talking about the currency and he got it wrong.

  18. ckildegaard says:

I apologize if someone already has asked this, but does this thing have good Linux support?

  19. rayofminneapolis says:

@mpeindms It’s been a pound sign all my life too. The phone operator still says hit pound. SO ya’ll can SMOKE your Hash tags!

  20. flemish4 says:

@Jallandhara I’m the one saying its not … £ is pound # is hash :)
